# Upgrade Account

The Eternals system uses a tiered account structure that provides distinct benefits based on the user's account level. Each stage requires a specific upgrade item. The table below provides comprehensive details.

* **Join Alliance Mining Program**: All users, regardless of their account level, can participate in the Guild Mining program and invite friends.
* **Unlock Benefit:** Benefits like Space Stones and referral points are restricted for regular Eternarian users and become accessible when upgrading to VIP 1 or above.
* **Genesis Bonus:** The $C98 or $ETER token bonus depends on the transaction amount when the referred user purchases within the platform, in Genesis or Pets **(excluding Base Eternals)**. The referral percentage is directly linked to the referrer's account level, with higher levels resulting in a higher bonus rate.
* **Genesis Mining Privilege**: an upgraded account can earn several benefits from our Alliance Mining System. A Legend Account is much more advantageous (25%) when exchanging the **ref points** for minting specific [Genesis Pools](https://docs.eternals.game/reward-distribution#genesis-pools).&#x20;
* **Claim Beacon NFTs:** Users can earn NFTs as achievements for reaching referral milestones, which also offer in-game benefits.&#x20;

**E.g.**

> For each successful referral, user will receive **2000 Space Stones & 1 ref point - "X" pack**

> **Case 1:**&#x20;
>
> * A referrals are: B, C, D -> A's balance is: 0 unlocked X + 3 locked X
> * B upgrade account -> A's balance is: 1 unlocked X + 2 locked X
> * B transfer NFT to C to upgrade C account -> A's balance is: 1 unlocked X + 2 locked X &#x20;
>
> (there is no change, because that NFT is no longer valid for unlocking X, but the first-login X is still unlocking normally)
>
> * **Only when** C upgrade account by 1 dynamic NFT that has never been used to upgrade any accounts or by a Base Eternals -> A's balance is: 2 unlocked X + 1 locked X
>
> **Case 2:** when users upgrade account and their account doesn't have a referral
>
> The account will automatically be referred under the [Eternals Treasury Account](https://www.vicscan.xyz/address/0xc300d3EfAce0F547A69469b53De71772cCC10CAf).

> **Case 3:** downgrade account
>
> * After user A has used the Eternals Pet NFT or PFP to upgrade the account to VIP2/Legend and then transferred or sold that NFT to user B; when B uses that NFT to upgrade the account to VIP2/Legend, the account of user A will be downgraded to Regular.
